I work with clients on either a 60- or 90-minute basis. My fees are $160 for 60 minutes of time and $240 for ninety minutes of time. If you are a new client, my fee is $180 for the first hour of our time together.
Insurance
For all insurance plans I am an out-of-network provider. What that means in our work together is that you need to check with your insurer to see what reimbursement rate you have for working with an out of network licensed psychologist. I do not submit bills to insurers, so this means that you will pay me at the time of our work together, then have the option submitting your receipts for service to your insurer . This means that for any services they cover they will be sending the reimbursement directly to you and not through me. I do not guarantee that your benefits will cover my services, so it’s most important you understand any limitations on that ahead of time.
Additionally, I do not participate in Medical Assistance, Medicare, or Medicaid plans. Consequently, you will not be reimbursed for your work with me if these you use any of these plans.
So, prior to beginning our work together, you may want to have a conversation with your insurance provider to clarify your coverage.
Issues you might want to elucidate when you talk with your insurer:
* Does your policy have out-of-network benefits that cover mental health services?
* Do you have a deductible for out of network coverage and how much is it?
* What percentage of out-of-network charges are reimbursed once your deductible has been met?
* Is there a limit on the number of sessions your plan covers in a calendar year?
FSA/HSA Accounts
If you are not using your regular insurance, you may be able to use your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or your Health Savings Account (HSA) to fund your therapy. Let me know if you will need the relevant invoices for you to submit to any of those plans.
